Meet Your Speech Therapist
Devann Lowe, M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner & Speech-Language Pathologist
I’m Devann, proud owner and a nationally certified, NYS and South Carolina-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
I founded this practice with two main goals: to support your child's communication, learning, and growth through play, and to empower you as a parent with the confidence to continue their development at home.
We take a holistic, play-based approach to therapy, ensuring that your child is seen, heard, and supported by building on their unique interests and strengths.
Our Approach
We are committed to a play-based approach to therapy, ensuring that your child is truly seen and heard. By building on their unique interests and abilities, we create a supportive environment for growth and development.
Mindfulness Based
We take a mindful approach to therapy, we believe that healthy brain development begins at home. By using active listening, awareness of thoughts and feelings, and intentional communication, we create meaningful connections with children, helping to foster their healthy development.
Equality
We see therapy as a partnership—a two-way street where we share the roles of both teachers and learners! You know your child best. So, we value your insights and know you understand them best. By working together, we aim to connect with you, learn about your child, and align with your family’s values, creating a truly collaborative approach to their growth.
Exploring “Why”
Brain development begins before birth and doubles during the first five years of life! During these years, children are learning behaviors and interaction patterns early on. If your child hits when they're upset or covers their ears at loud sounds, curiosity helps us step into their world and understand the deeper meaning behind these behaviors.
