Kelsey Lowe, M.A., LMHC-D

Licensed Mental Health Counselor-Diagnostic Privilege

Through evidence-based interventions and a client-centered approach, I assist adolescents in navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, academic stress, peer relationships, and family dynamics.

I understand the importance of building strong therapeutic alliances and work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that promote growth and resilience. I am adept at creating a safe and supportive environment where adolescents feel empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Adolescents can embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and personal growth, ultimately realizing their full potential and leading fulfilling lives.

My Approach

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Sometimes we develop patterns of thinking that can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or discouraged. Together, we'll identify those patterns and explore healthier ways of responding to life's challenges.

Strengths-Based Therapy

I believe that every person has unique strengths, abilities, and resilience—even during difficult seasons of life. Using a strengths-based approach, I help clients identify and build upon the qualities, skills, and resources they already possess rather than focusing solely on challenges or deficits.

Solution-Focused Therapy

Solution-Focused Therapy can be helpful for navigating stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, motivation challenges, and times when you feel stuck or unsure of your next step. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting—we’ll work together to define what “better” looks like for you.

My role is to support you in identifying what’s already helping, strengthen those areas, and take realistic steps toward the change you want to see in your life.
